Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about caring for your extensions, custom units, shipping, exchanges, and wig cap measurements.

Hair extensions should be washed and treated every 2–3 weeks.
All wigs should be washed at least every 3 weeks.
Traci D. Hair does not offer refunds or cancellations. Rest assured, we thoroughly wash and inspect all hair to ensure consistency and quality before shipping to our customers.

Due to the nature of our products, all items are custom made to order and are non-refundable. Traci D. Hair reserves the right to refuse all unauthorized returns.
Please allow 7–14 business days.
Please see the measurement chart below to help guide you in choosing the right cap size.
Exchanges are honored within seven days of receipt of product. The product must be returned in its original condition with no alterations to be eligible for an exchange.

Alterations include but are not limited to: removal of tags, removal of zip ties, applying water, products, or chemical treatments.

Please email us within seven days of receiving your order. Include your name, order number, and photos with your email for return instructions. After seven days, all exchanges are void.

If an exchange is permitted, shipping costs of the existing order, exchange, and any upcharges are the buyer’s responsibility. Federal law prohibits the return of used human hair.

Traci D. Hair Studio reserves the right to refuse any packages or returns at any time.

Please Note: Closures, frontals, and wigs are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Please keep in mind that no two people care for their hair the same way. There are many factors to consider, including products used, climate, water, how often the hair is washed, heating tools, and individual care.

With proper care, we have seen our hair last a minimum of 2–3 years and longer.
